In my recent work I studied the molecular basis of metabolic insecticide resistance in malaria vectors and was involved in the development of a diagnostic tool to monitor insecticide resistance in field mosquito populations as part of the Gates funded IVCC programme lead by the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine, UK.
