Obesity |
Obesity has become the primary NCD risk factor next to smoking in high income countries. It is associated with the risk of numerous chronic diseases. At EPH we assess the interplay between obesity and various factors ranging from genetics to gender with regard to various chronic disease outcomes. Members of EPH actively participate in developing and evaluating policies aimed at obesity prevention in both, children and adults.
