Exposure Science

The group specialises in environmental exposure assessment, including air pollution monitoring and modelling, particulate source apportionment and chemical analysis, and environmental noise assessment. One of our primary focuses is to develop environmental exposure models for large-scale epidemiological studies that better characterise human exposure to environmental air pollutants. Additionally, we continually strive to advance exposure sciences by integrating state-of-the-art air and noise monitoring devices and methods in our work. Our current efforts focus on understanding spatio-temporal variability of source-specific air pollutants and noise, in order to assess the associated health impacts of different sources, especially road traffic.
