Swiss TPH

The library of Swiss TPH is open to the public and offers literature and other media on International and Public Health, Travel and Tropical Medicine, as well as on Medical Parasitology and Biology of Infection.

Our offer

• Reading room, 15 workstations with internet access
• About 80 current journals on natural sciences, medicine and public health. The latest issue of each journal is on display in the journals cabinet.
• More then 9000 monographs, annual reports, theses and DVDs. The books are arranged in subject order (National Library of Medicine Classification).
• Access to the online catalogue and the online resources of the University of Basel.

Our rules

Books can generally be taken out on loan. Journals can only be consulted in the library or online. It is possible to make copies with our copying machine.

Catalogue

All accessions, especially books and journals are catalogued in the online catalogue of Basel and Berne (Deutschschweizer Bibliotheksverbund IDS).
