Telemedicine is defined as the use of medical information transferred through interactive electronic media for the purpose of medical consultations. The aim is to improve patient care through consultative, diagnostic, and treatment services. The Swiss TPH performs Telemedicine activities in national and international projects showcasing the opportunities and benefits in health settings of low and middle income countries.
