Health Systems and Economics |
Efficient health systems are fundamental for providing effective, equitable and sustainable health care. Economic analysis provides an important basis for designing, implementing and evaluating the impact of health systems and health policies, not only on the health of a population, but also on society in generally.
We are committed to improving health systems by bettering the design and implementation of health policies and strive to optimally achieve our objectives through the development and maintenance of a conducive working environment, high quality products, services and scientific output, efficient knowledge management, and integral networks.
We endeavour to become increasingly recognised as a centre for excellence in four thematic areas of Health Systems Economics (HSE): sustainable health systems development, health care financing, aid modality, and economic analysis.
