Current Research Projects
Developing a framework to assess governance within health systems, this is a joint project with the Basel Institute on Governance. This involves determining the best possible indicators to assess accountability and health system performance which can indicate where governance failures are occurring.
Main Interests
Strengthening health systems by looking into cost-effective interventions, reducing inequalities in health care access especially with regards to health financing, improving health information systems in developing countries.
