Work Experience

  • 2008 - Present: Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute, Swiss Centre for International Health, Project Leader for technical, managerial and administrative implementation of Health Technology and Telemedicine Unit (HTTU)
  • 2006 – 2007: Research associate at Biomedical Optics Research Laboratory (ETH and University Hospital Zürich). Project coordination in the field of near infrared spectrometry for newborn infants.
  • 2005 – 2006: Technical consultant at a centre for vocational training for unemployed youths in West-Java, Indonesia for the Swiss NGO mission21. In charge of restructuring the school (equipment, training of teachers, update of curriculum, teaching).
  • 2004 – 2005: With Roche Diagnostics (Disetronic Medical Systems) in the department "Diabetes Management". Responsible for a test stand to perform clinical studies in the field of "Automated Pancreas". Planning and data evaluation of clinical trials.
  • 2000 – 2003: Research associate in an EC-funded project "ADICOL" employed by Disetronic Medical Systems, Switzerland. Hard– and software development and testing of a Prototype glucose control system for Type 1 Diabetics.
