Professional Activities

  • Medical Coordinator of the Programme for the Prevention of HIV-AIDS in Central Africa (PPSAC) financed by KfW (German Development Bank), managed by ITS (Swiss Tropical Institute) and of which OCEAC (Organisation of Coordination for the fight against endemics in Central Africa) is the beneficiary within the framework of the support of the German Government to CEMAC (Economic and Monetary Community of Central Africa).

  • Doctorate in Medicine, 1972-1980, Faculty of Medicine in Benin.
  • Course in European tropical epidemiology, 1985, IMT Antwerp Belgium.
  • Post Graduate Diploma (Maîtrise) in Public Health, 1988-1989, at the Institute of Tropical Medicine in Antwerp Belgium.
  • Course on Management of Health Projects, 1989-1990, in the Federal Republic of Germany

Work Experience

  • 1980 -1983: Chief Medical Officer (Doctor) of the Medical District of Kouande in Benin.
  • 1983 – 1984: Chief Medical Officer (Doctor) of the Medical District of Bassila in Benin.
  • 1984 – 1988 et 1990 – 1999: Medical Coordinator of the Benin-Germany Project “Primary Care of Health�? (P-BA-SSP) on behalf of DED and GTZ in Benin.
  • 1999 – 2002: Principal Technical Adviser for GTZ for management of the Project for Primary Health in the Central Region of Togo.
  • 2002-2005: Principal Technical Adviser for GTZ for the management of the (Project of Support for the Development of Health projects) PADESS project in Togo.
  • 2005 – Date: Coordinator of the regional Programme for the Prevention of HIV-Aids in Central Africa (PPSAC).
  • 1990 – 2004: Numerous Consultancy Missions in different African Countries including 5 in the sector of HIV-Aids for different organisations particularly GTZ, OMS, Islamic Bank for Development, Kolping F.R.Germany, etc.
