Develop a country-level business case model for using BPaL regimens for tuberculosis treatment

The topic of the proposed work is the building of an economic model for use at country-level with the aim to estimate the value-added for changing treatment to the BPaL or BPaLM regimen for appropriate TB patient groups. The model will be designed based on a literature review of relevant work in TB programming and other diseases.
The model will take into account the cost perspectives of the service providers and of the applicable patient groups, as far as this is relevant and feasible. The aim is for the model to be robust, flexible and simple to populate with readily available or easy to access data.
The model will be tested in a first phase for a pilot country for the purpose of proof of concept and further refinement. The generic model will be adjusted as needed for specific country contexts, while allowing broadest generalizability to other contexts and for comparison across the foreseen broad application in numerous countries.
