Lydia Trippler, MSc, is a PhD student of the department of Epidemiology and Public Health at Swiss TPH. After school, she lived in Tanzania for one year to do voluntary work. She holds a BSc in Health Care Management and Health Economics from the University of Wuppertal, Germany and a MSc in (European) Public Health from the University of Bielefeld, Germany. An internship for her MSc thesis got her in touch with Swiss TPH and brougth her back to Tanzania for three months in 2019. At Swiss TPH, she started her research as a PhD student in 2020 on schistosomiasis elimination in Zanzibar.
