Research interests

Using advanced molecular tools, culturomics (aerobic and anaerobic) techniques and various state-of-the-art techniques to study and characterize the role of gut microbiota in host function, health and disease.

At Swiss TPH my research focuses on microbiota-targeted intervention for childhood undernutrition in low and middle-income countries.
