Survey of participants of clinical research

As part of the Human Research Act, which came into force as a federal law in 2014, the Federal Office of Public Health is obliged to review its effectiveness, regulation and appropriateness. The Human Research Act lays down uniform provisions for human research. On the one hand, it is about protecting the dignity of human personality and health in research and, on the other hand, ensuring the quality and transparency of human research.

On behalf of the Federal Office of Public Health, the Swiss TPH carries out a study on the perspective of participants in clinical research.
