Swiss TPH offers a number of programmes and courses based on the concept of Lifelong Learning (LLL). These offerings allow individuals to build practical skills and knowledge at later points in their personal and professional lives and are therefore categorized as professional postgraduate education and training. A minimum of two years’ professional experience and a first degree are typical requirements for admission to these programmes and courses.

The Travellers’ Health certificate course prepares health professionals and travel industry staff to give relevant health information to travellers and to assess travel-related problems occurring during and after travel, with a special focus on tropical diseases.
These one-day courses in parasitological diagnostics cover the differential diagnosis of parasitic diseases like malaria, helminths or intestinal protozoans infections. In addition, the courses provide an insight into biology, epidemiology and clinical aspects of these diseases.
The 14-week, full-time course introduces students to a range of skills and knowledge needed to work as a public or international health professional in resource constrained settings, with a special focus on supporting implementation.
