Eric Huber is a Project Leader in the Pharmaceutical Medicines Unit at the Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute (Swiss TPH) in Basel, Switzerland and has worked in the Division Medicines Research since 2006 in different positions.
Currently he leads the planning, organization, management & monitoring of trials, predominantly being conducted in resource limited countries which focusses on neglected diseases such as Malaria, Tuberculosis and Helminth infections. Through this work, he has gained extensive experience in the management of clinical phase I to IV vaccine and drug trials. In addition, he organizes and contributes to capacity building projects such as monitoring, GCP and quality management courses in sub-Saharan Africa and Switzerland.
Eric graduated as a Biologist from the University of Basel, Switzerland in 2005. In 2016 he successfully completed an executive MBA program at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland FHNW.
