The information and documentation centre of Swiss TPH is open to the public and offers literature and other media to the subjects International and Public Health, Travel and Tropical Medicine, as well as Medical Parasitology and Biology of Infection.
Our offer
- About 80 current journals on natural sciences, medicine and public health, 8800 monographs, annual reports, reprints, course programs, theses, DVDs. CDs, slides and films.
- Workstations with internet access and access to the online catalogue and virtual library of the University of Basel.
- Reading room
Our rules
Books can generally be taken out on loan. Journals can only be consulted in the library. It is possible to make copies with our copying machine.
Other useful information
The books are arranged in subject order (National Library of Medicine classification).
The latest issue of each journal is on display in the journals cabinet.
All accessions, especially books and journals, from 1987 onwards are catalogued in the online catalogue of Basel and Berne (Deutschschweizer Bibliotheksverbund IDS).
