Professional Activities
- Bonaventure Savadogo has been working at the Swiss Tropical Institute since 2003. As a medical doctor by training (since 1990), he obtained a masters degree (MSc in Health Economics, in 2000) at the"Centre Africain d'Etudes Supérieures en Gestion" at Dakar/Senegal. With long-term work experience in health economics and public health he has taken on responsibilities at operational, intermediate and central level of the Ministry of Health of Burkina Faso. Among others he has been in charge of planning, monitoring and evaluating health programs and projects. He also has sound experience in the management of health services and health sector financing in particular in countries of Saharan Africa.
