“GCP for Investigators and Sub-Investigators” (Swissmedic accredited)
Content
This compact one day GCP course is designed according to the requirements of Swissmedic regarding GCP knowledge indispensable for Investigators of clinical trials.
The course provides comprehensive insight into ICH-GCP and adjacent topics such as study design, basic statistics and data management. It is ideal for Investigators, study personnel and people involved and/or interested in clinical research. It serves as beginners as well as refresher training.
The training covers the following topics:
Principles of the ICH-GCP guideline and its historical background; Legal and regulatory requirements of clinical research; Role of ethics committees and regulatory authorities; Quality and data management in clinical trials; Study documentation, incl. structure and content of study protocol; Study design and basic statistical principles. (Learning objectives)
Structure
The course consists of presentations, enriched with practical examples, and is taught by instructors with hands-on experience in the field.
Certificate
The course is accredited by Swissmedic and is fulfilling the training requirements for Investigators and Sub-Investigators.
Target audience
Medical, nursing and scientific staff involved in clinical trials as well as any other person interested and/or implicated in this field of research.

| The course fee is due upon receipt of the invoice. It includes the teaching documentation, refreshments and lunch. It is possible to cancel the attendance two weeks prior to the event for an administrative fee of CHF 50.00. For cancellations up to one week prior to the event, 50 % of the attendance fee will be charged; for less than one week the whole attendance fee must be paid. |
