Our Master's Programmes
Swiss TPH offers two specialised Master of Science (MSc) programmes in Epidemiology and in Infection Biology in cooperation with the University of Basel. These programmes address global public health issues at all levels - local, national and international - and in a variety of contexts, spanning research to practice, so that students have a comprehensive understanding of public health.
We also contribute to a range of bachelor’s and master’s programmes at the University of Basel that deal with public health issues, including biology, medicine, African studies and anthropology.
Career opportunities
Our specialised MSc programmes open the doors to careers in a wide range of fields, including epidemiology, global and public health, and life sciences. Graduates often continue their academic careers with a PhD or work in research, science communication or education. Others enter careers in ministries of health, international organisations, non-governmental organisations (NGOs), or the pharmaceutical industry.
