Swiss TPH is an associated institute of the University of Basel, the oldest university in Switzerland. For most courses, evidence of two years of professional experience in a field significantly related to the specific subject areas is a prerequisite. Courses taught in English require sufficient English language skills (TOEFL Paper 550, TOEFL Computer 213, TOEFL Internet 79-80, IELTS 6.0 or completed higher education in English).
Most of our postgraduate programmes are taught in English, but we also offer some courses in German and French.

The application of knowledge to real-life situations is a key feature of our practice-oriented training approach. Case studies and practical exercises enrich our postgraduate programmes and foster professional skills in systemic problem analysis, solution-oriented intervention design and critical reflection on complex issues. However, we do not offer internships as part of our postgraduate programmes.

Ideally, you join our programmes in person at our headquarters in Allschwil, Switzerland, to get the most out of interacting with other students and facilitators.
