Project Abstract
Since 1985, LUDOK - the Swiss Literature Database on Air Pollution and Health has been collecting and cataloguing the literature published worldwide on the subject of air pollution and health on behalf of the Federal Office for the Environment. The database contains more than 10'000 entries, which can be searched in English, French and German. Thanks to systematic keywording searches are more productive than in common scientific databases. LUDOK offers a bi-monthly newsletter in which current topics are summarized and commented upon. LUDOK conducts literature searches, writes reports and supports international organizations or consortia in evidence synthesis. LUDOK is the clearing house on questions of air pollution and health in Switzerland and offers consulting on the topic to the public and public authorities.
