SRHR - Norad Framework Agreement of Technical Support to Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights

The Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation (Norad) is a directorate under the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, with a mandate to promote sound and effective management of development assistance funds, ensure that Norwegian development cooperation is quality-assured and evaluated. Norad works in close cooperation with national and international centres of competence. As part of this approach, Norad contracted expert consultancy services from the Swiss TPH within a two to four-year Framework Agreement, Portfolio B, to support its priority themes of sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), harmful practices and social inclusion including lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex and other sexuality, sex and gender diverse (LGBTI+). The purpose of Norad establishing the framework consultancy agreement is to ensure that that it has continual rapid access to flexible expert services of high quality in a broad spectrum of SRHR themes within diverse development and humanitarian settings. The Framework Agreement is also intended to contribute to strengthening the knowledge base for the continued implementation of Norwegian global health policy. The team, led by Kate Molesworth, also comprises three senior SRHR experts based in Norway.
