BMGF - Applied country level modelling in Africa
Project Abstract
Objectives
- Apply malaria analytics and modelling frameworks at country level to inform targeted interventions, optimize resource allocation, and empower decision-makers in the effective control and reduction of malaria transmission.
- Develop and extend advanced frameworks for malaria modelling to enhance validity of methods, and provide robust tools for evidence-based decision-making at the country level
- Increase local quantitative capacity and expertise to facilitate thorough modelling understanding among stakeholders and to empower local modellers with advanced skills to ultimately provide efficient support to NMCPs.
- Strengthen the enabling environment for malaria modelling by fostering global, interdisciplinary collaboration, and promoting knowledge exchange, ensuring sustained support and utilization of modelling tools for country-level decision-making.
