BMGF - Applied country level modelling in Africa

Objectives

  1. Apply malaria analytics and modelling frameworks at country level to inform targeted interventions, optimize resource allocation, and empower decision-makers in the effective control and reduction of malaria transmission.
  2. Develop and extend advanced frameworks for malaria modelling to enhance validity of methods, and provide robust tools for evidence-based decision-making at the country level
  3. Increase local quantitative capacity and expertise to facilitate thorough modelling understanding among stakeholders and to empower local modellers with advanced skills to ultimately provide efficient support to NMCPs.
  4. Strengthen the enabling environment for malaria modelling by fostering global,  interdisciplinary collaboration, and promoting knowledge exchange, ensuring sustained support and utilization of modelling tools for country-level decision-making.
