Students discussing in a CAS Health Systems and Management lecture

The Certificate of Advanced Studies in Health Systems Management (CAS HSM) provides international participants with the competencies to strategically plan and implement sustainable improvements in health systems, addressing inequities and taking into account social, legal and ethical responsibilities. You will acquire the ability to communicate, collaborate and lead in a multidisciplinary and multicultural environment and to critically reflect on the role, decision-making process and impact of global health actors.

With a focus on practical application and interactive training, you will benefit from engaging with experts from various fields and with the international and diverse student body participating in the full-time Diploma of Advanced Studies in Global Health Systems and Management (DAS GHSM) course.

The CAS Health Systems Management is designed for professionals who want to better understand how health systems work and develop the skills to plan, implement and manage health programmes, projects and interventions effectively. It is particularly relevant for those who work across disciplines and cultures and want to strengthen their management, communication and collaboration skills.

Participants come from a variety of professional backgrounds and countries. Most are trained health professionals, such as doctors, nurses, midwives and pharmacists, but participants from other disciplines, including business and social sciences, also contribute to the diversity of the class.
