IVCC ModNet - Modelling Network to support IVCCs project
Project Abstract
Background
Access to modelling is a key support activity to help guide IVCC projects and partners, including supporting product design, development, and deployment of vector control interventions, such as ITNs, ATSBs, and SEs, the development of optimal IRM and IVM deployment strategies, and product cost modelling. Through dedicated support from Swiss TPH, the formation of the Modelling Network will support the following aims.
Overarching Aims
The overall focus of this Modelling Network is to better understand:
• The overall impact of interventions on disease transmission
• The cost-effectiveness of disease control interventions
• The intervention's effect on insecticide resistance management and prevention
