Strengthening Health Care Supply Chain Management in Tanzania
Project Abstract
Undertake a situational analysis that supports the projet partners (Novo Nordisk and Kühne Foundation) to develop a comprehensive understanding of how the public and private healthcare supply chain operate in the Republic of Tanzania functions. Specifically, the identification of what governmental plans and commitments to strengthen healthcare supply chain management in the country. Further, initiatives related to Universal Health Coverage and leaving no-one behind, and on improving access to prevention and treatment for people at risk of developing or already suffering from noncommunicable diseases (NCDs) will be inventorised and their relevance to Senselet outlined.
The requested deliverable is an analytical report describing the current stakeholder and network map including roles and responsibilities in the healthcare supply chain management (HCSC) including funding model, responsible parties and institutions.
