Johanna Stenstrom

Johanna Stenstrom has over 15 years of experience in managing teams and programs with a focus on malaria prevention and control, based out of Burkina Faso, Togo, Uganda and Timor-Leste. She has worked extensively with National Malaria Programs, supporting the implementation and scale-up of Seasonal Malaria Chemoprevention (SMC) in collaboration with various international organizations and funders. Johanna holds an MSc in Economics from Gothenburg University, Sweden and speaks English, French, Portuguese, and Swedish.

At Swiss TPH, Johanna serves as the Project Leader for the GlobMal project, which strengthens global malaria control efforts, which entails being the Coordinator to three of the RBM Partnership’s technical working groups (Vector Control, Case Management, and Multi-sectoral Action).
