Swiss TPH Informatics is a support, competence and service unit for all Swiss TPH staff. We are a shared unit and provide information and communication technology support to all Swiss TPH departments.
The Informatics unit consists of 5 structured elements, which perform different tasks: Management, Service and Support, Operations, Process, Project and Application Support as well as Research IT and Digitalisation.
The Informatics unit provides user and infrastructure functions based on the various types of infrastructure that need to be implemented and maintained. IT services support and advice all Swiss TPH staff at several national and international locations.
Service and Support
The Service and Support team is the direct interface between IT and the customer. It ensures stable and reliable IT workplaces and supports the procurement of IT resources for our projects in Switzerland and abroad. IT is responsible for the planning, installation, maintenance, and security of the implemented IT infrastructure.
Projects & Processes
Within the framework of projects, IT coordinates with external IT supporters and our internal staff. We also support special applications such as collaboration platforms, intranet and from the medica field.
