Honesty and integrity are prerequisites for the credibility of academic research. Swiss TPH requires observance of the rules of academic integrity and good academic practice pursuant to the following provisions.
Swiss TPH uses a governance framework built up on a range of principles and policies that regulate the institute`s research. Due to its association with the University of Basel, the Regulation on scientific integrity in research and good scientific practice of the University of Basel is a binding document. Reference is also made to the Principles and Procedures of the Swiss Academies of Arts and Sciences` Integrity in scientific research.
Research governance ensures the delivery of high quality research. It is defined as the broad range of regulations, principles and standards of good practice that exist to achieve, and continuously improve, research quality across all aspects of healthcare and public health worldwide.
