Dr. Marco Tamborrini, PhD

Marco Tamborrini is HSSE Commissioner at Swiss TPH. He studied biology at the University of Basel and at Swiss TPH and received his PhD in microbiology. As a scientist at Swiss TPH, he worked on the analysis of humoral immune responses against a range of pathogens, the development of diagnostic test systems and the preclinical validation of vaccine candidates (until 2021). From 2010, he has successively taken on the tasks of biosafety officer, radiation protection officer, safety officer and safety engineer and has been HSSE commissioner at Swiss TPH since 2021.
