Pie Müller is a medical entomologist with an interest in the biology of disease vectors, insecticide resistance, entomological surveillance and the development of novel vector control products. He has a broad background in developing new molecular methods for the surveillance of malaria mosquitoes and substantially contributed to the discovery of molecular markers for the development of vector population monitoring tools. His recent work has focused on the development of new tools for the surveillance and control of mosquitoes and the biology of invasive mosquitoes in Europe.
