Kaspar Wyss New Deputy Director of Swiss TPH

Kaspar Wyss has been the Head of the Swiss Centre for International Health (SCIH) at Swiss TPH and member of the managing board since 2015. Wyss is a public health specialist with more than 30 years of experience in health systems strengthening and human resources development in low- and middle-income countries. He holds a Titular Professor at the Faculty of Science at the University of Basel. He has s extensive project managing and consultancy experiences for a broad range of clients such as the World Bank, WHO, UNICEF, the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) or the German GiZ and KfW.

"I would like to thank Nino wholeheartedly for his invaluable contribution to Swiss TPH in the past 10 years since the integration of the former Institute for Social and Preventive Medicine into the former Swiss Tropical Institute.
