Esther Künzli

Esther Künzli ist Co-Leitung der Medical Services Unit am Swiss TPH. Künzli hat an der Universität Basel Medizin studiert und anschliessend einen Facharzt in Allgemeiner Innerer Medizin und in Infektiologie gemacht. In 2011 machte sie zudem einen Master in Control of Infectious Diseases an der London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. Sie hat 2022 an der Universität Basel in Tropen- und Reisemedizin habilitiert.

In ihrer wissenschaftlichen Arbeit fokussiert sie v.a. auf den Einfluss von internationalem Reisen auf die Verbreitung von Antibiotika-Resistenz.
