More responsive immunization services through tailoring for hard-to-reach populations in Chad

The main goal of the study is to identify potential strategies to tailor immunization services to reach nomadic communities in Chad.

The objectives of our study are:

(i) To assess the feasibility and sustainability of integrating the One Health approach into the existing vaccination services in Chad; (ii) to identify the factors that prevent nomads from accessing vaccination services; (iii) to explore potential communication channels between the health system and nomadic communities as a mean to tailor public health services; and (iv) to document the process and results of tailoring vaccination services to meet nomadic communities’ needs

To achieve these objectives, a mixed methods study with qualitative and quantitative methodologies is applied.
