Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidance sets the standard that clinical trials worldwide are expected to follow, shaping how trials are designed, conducted and reported to protect participants and produce reliable results. Access to this guidance in a researcher's own working language supports its consistent understanding and application, a factor particularly relevant for the many clinical research professionals who do not work primarily in English.

Swiss TPH has just published a French translation of the International Council for Harmonisation Good Clinical Practice Guideline ICH E6(R3), a practical resource to help strengthen clinical research capacity and support the implementation of GCP across Francophone countries and regions.
The translation was initiated by Swiss TPH to improve access to the revised Good Clinical Practice guidance for clinical research professionals in French-speaking contexts. It reflects Swiss TPH’s long-standing collaboration with partners in francophone Africa, including in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) and Côte d’Ivoire, and its continued commitment to strengthening clinical research capacity through partnership, training and knowledge sharing.
Swiss TPH has extensive expertise in Good Clinical Practice, regularly delivering GCP training and refresher courses for investigators and study teams in Switzerland and in partner countries.
