Specialist Medical Trainings at Swiss TPH
Swiss TPH is accredited by the Swiss Institute for Continuing Medical Education (SIWF) as a training centre for several medical specialisations. As part of its academic mission and international orientation, Swiss TPH offers structured continuing education programmes for physicians in selected fields of high relevance to health policy and global health.

Specialisation in Prevention and Public Health
Swiss TPH is accredited as a Category A training centre for specialist medical training in prevention and public health.

Swiss TPH is recognised as a training centre for obtaining the title of specialist in travel and tropical medicine.

Recognised by the SIWF in Category III, with up to 1 year of further training time credited.

Admission Requirements
A completed medical degree is a prerequisite for further medical training at Swiss TPH. The following are acceptable:
- A completed medical degree from a Swiss university
- Or a foreign medical degree recognised by the Swiss authorities (Federal Office of Public Health, FOPH)
