Yes, you can apply for multiple advanced studies in parallel.
Our CAS, DAS, MAS and MBA are distinct postgraduate degrees that lead to university qualifications awarded by University of Basel and the Swiss TPH. CAS refers to the Certificate of Advanced Study, DAS stands for the Diploma of Advanced Studies, MAS signifies the Master of Advanced Study and MBA represents the Master of Business Administration.
A CAS (Certificate of Advanced Studies) is awarded on completion of a programme comprising at least 120 contact hours. It can be worth between 10 and 29 ECTS credits.
A DAS (Diploma of Advanced Studies) requires a programme of at least 250 contact hours to be completed. It may result in between 30 and 59 ECTS credits.
MAS programmes provide advanced education in a specific field. A MAS (Master of Advanced Studies) is awarded on completion of a programme of at least one year, a written thesis and an oral examination. It is usually worth at least 60 ECTS credits, although in some cases a MAS may offer more.
Our MBA is a comprehensive business management programme designed to develop leadership and managerial skills for professionals. It is awarded on completion of the programme, which lasts at least a minimum of one and a half years (90 ECTS), a written thesis and an oral examination. MBAs (Master of Business Administration) fall into the MAS category.
