Swiss TPH Strategy 2025-2028
Project Abstract
The Swiss TPH Strategy 2025-2028 is based on SERI's funding phase and is further developed in line with it every four years. The four-year goals, developed in a participatory manner and with the involvement of key stakeholders, are described in an impact-oriented, future-oriented and measurable manner and the annual progress of implementation is documented. This quality process established at Swiss TPH serves as a steering instrument for the Institute's management to initiate corrective measures at an early stage and with foresight, and to achieve the set four-year goals at the end of the strategy period.
With this participatory development and consistent implementation of the Strategy 2025-2028, Swiss TPH secures and deepens the trust of its key stakeholders in the long term. In mid-2023, the Swiss TPH will therefore convince the public funders SERI, the two sponsoring cantons Basel Stadt and Basel Landschaft as well as the University of Basel with a prudent strategy for the funding period developed according to the methods of business excellence.
Parallel to the 1.5-year consultation phase by the Swiss Science Council and other government agencies, the concept for monitoring the various impact indicators will be built up so that baseline measurements for all KPIs will be available by the start of the new strategy in January 2025.
Die Schweizer TPH-Strategie 2025-2028 orientiert sich an der Förderphase des SBFI und wird alle vier Jahre darauf abgestimmt weiterentwickelt. Die partizipativ und unter Einbezug aller wichtigen Stakeholder entwickelten Vierjahresziele werden wirkungsorientiert, zukunftsgerichtet und messbar beschrieben und der jährliche Fortschritt der Umsetzung dokumentiert. Dieser am Swiss TPH etablierte Qualitätsprozess dient der Institutsleitung als Steuerungsinstrument, um frühzeitig und vorausschauend Korrekturmaßnahmen einzuleiten und die gesetzten Vierjahresziele am Ende des Strategiezeitraums zu erreichen.
Mit dieser partizipativen Entwicklung und konsequenten Umsetzung der Strategie 2025-2028 sichert und vertieft das Swiss TPH langfristig das Vertrauen der wichtigsten Anspruchsgruppen. Mitte 2023 wird das Swiss TPH deshalb die öffentlichen Geldgeber SBFI, die beiden Trägerkantone Basel Stadt und Basel Landschaft sowie die Universität Basel mit einer nach den Methoden der Business Excellence entwickelten, umsichtigen Strategie für die Förderperiode überzeugen.
Parallel zur 1,5-jährigen Konsultations-Phase durch den Schweizerischen Wissenschaftsrat und andere staatliche Stellen wird das Konzept für das Monitoring der verschiedenen Wirkungsindikatoren aufgebaut, so dass bis zum Start der neuen Strategie im Januar 2025 Basismessungen für alle KPIs vorliegen werden.
